Jane Nichols

Like many, I have been a bit of a jane-of-all-trades type librarian in my ~8 years at Oregon State University Libraries & Press. The last couple of years I worked in our collections unit while supervising acquisitions staff. Previously I served as a social sciences-humanities librarian doing the typical reference, instruction and collection development. Three of my favorite projects so far are studying the adoption (or not) of dedicated eReaders at my library; using my project management skills to co-develop Library a la Carte, an open-source content management system used to create course and subject guides; and, both serving on and leading our usability team to improve our website.
